Etienne Genot, Partner, heads the French Financial Services tax and legal Practice.
He has nearly 20 years’ experience on the financial services sector working for banks, insurance companies and investment funds.
He is also recognized as a leading individual in corporate M&A and restructuring. He advises his clients on French and cross border transactions (M&A, JV structuring, complex financing and restructuring transactions).
Before joining Deloitte Société d'Avocats in 2007, Etienne worked for Simeon & Partners in Asia (1996-1997), in the Financial Sector Department of Arthur Andersen (1998-2001), and Clifford Chance (2001-2007).
Etienne is a regular speaker at conferences in France and abroad. He also teaches at HEC Business School and is a lecturer at EDHEC Paris Business School.
